Portfolio Analytics
How to read dashboards, interpret allocation charts, and generate client reports.
Portfolio Analytics
Turn extracted holdings into actionable insights — allocation, risk, overlap, and benchmark comparison.
Dashboard Overview
After processing a document, the Analytics tab reveals:
1. Asset Allocation
A donut chart showing:
- Equity (large-cap / mid-cap / small-cap)
- Debt (gilt / credit risk / dynamic)
- Hybrid & solution-oriented
- Alternatives (AIF / PMS / REIT)
- Cash & equivalents
Drill down: Click any slice to see the underlying schemes and their weights.
2. Risk Metrics
| Metric | What It Means | Healthy Range |
|---|---|---|
| Sharpe Ratio | Return per unit of risk | > 1.0 |
| Maximum Drawdown | Largest peak-to-trough decline | < 20% |
| VaR (95%) | Potential loss with 95% confidence | Varies by risk profile |
| Concentration | % in top 3 holdings | < 40% |
3. Benchmark Comparison
Your portfolio vs:
- Nifty 50 (large-cap benchmark)
- Nifty Midcap 100
- CRISIL Hybrid 50+50
- Custom benchmark (configurable)
Green = outperformance. Red = underperformance.
4. Fund Overlap Matrix
Visual grid showing duplicate stock exposure across schemes.
Example: If both HDFC Top 100 and Axis Bluechip hold Reliance, the overlap cell shows the shared weight. High overlap = concentration risk in disguise.

Scenario Modeling
Ask Zen hypothetical questions:
“What if I move 10% from equity to gold?”
Zen computes:
- Projected volatility change
- Expected return impact
- New Sharpe ratio
- Visual before/after allocation chart
“What if I consolidate my 4 mid-cap funds into 2?”
Zen shows overlap reduction and simplified maintenance.
